DLG attorneys and paraprofessionals are actively involved in the central Kentucky community. We strive to make central Kentucky a better place to live, work and relax for everyone.

April is Financial Literacy Awareness Month! Join DLG in presenting to high schools throughout Kentucky through Credit Abuse Resistance Education (“CARE”). CARE is a financial literacy program intended to educate students to help them avoid making mistakes that could lead to bankruptcy and financial disaster. There are scheduled presentations at Dunbar High School on April 18th 10:40-11:40 am. We need 20 presenters for presentations in various classrooms for approximately 600 students. Training for volunteer presenters will be in the Fayette County Circuit Courthouse Multipurpose Room on April 13th from 12-1p. The Bar Foundation will provide lunch at the training. In order to have an accurate headcount, attendees RSVP to Guion at gjohnstone@kybar.org. To sign up for presentations, also email Guion at gjohnston@kybar.org.
