Many, many thanks for all your wonderful help seeing us through this awful ordeal. Your attention to detail, making sure we understood every step of the process, your very prompt response to our numerous questions and the level of kindness extended to us by all of your staff made an otherwise harrowing experience bearable. We were treated with respect and dignity and compassion, it truly makes a difference when you feel that your life has just fallen apart. We never wanted this to happen but you guys held us by the hand, made everything as smooth as possible and allowed us to believe we could make it and start again. Everything would have been very different if we weren't in your very kind and capable hands.
Sometimes things happen in your life that you have no control over. This happened to me when I had to file bankruptcy. I had lost everything due to losing my highly paid career. When I realized I had no where to turn, a friend recommended that I get in touch with DelCotto Law Group. Reluctantly, I reached out to Jamie Harris who immediately set up an appointment with me to explain exactly what it meant to claim bankruptcy. I had no idea what to expect and how it was going to impact me going forward. Jamie explained everything in detail then began working to get all the creditors off my back. The threatening phone calls stopped, the lawsuits were dismissed, and the weekly final notices in the mail also ceased. DelCotto never wavered during my entire time of doing business with them (since 2011), I was always informed of any changes and they kept in touch the whole time. I was not thrown from one person to another, the paralegal, Heather was assigned to my case and always communicated everything very clearly. This office is top notch and will not nickel and dime you to death as a lot of others do. If anyone is in need of help and you have no place else to turn, I highly recommend DelCotto Law Group PPLC! You won't be sorry you did! Today, I'm stress free and have began building my life back again. Thank you again DelCotto Group for taking such good care of me!
I would like to express my profound gratitude and appreciation to Clair Edwards and Heather Purnell for their dedicated commitment to my insecure situation over the last 2+years. When I came to see Clair for a consultation, (this after talking with two other lawyers), I perceived she was someone who really listened to what I had to say. She was patient, courtesy and spent well over the allotted time explaining every detail of my options, her services and what I would need to do myself to begin the process if this is what I chose to do. I had so many questions and would contact Clair and Heather for assistance and guidance. The promptness of their response to each and every question was phenomenal to me. I work as a professional assistant and I know how I respond to people with concerns and to have that reiterated back to me was extraordinary and showed true professional. Clair and Heather first assisted me with my Chapter 13 when I wanted to keep my farm property from foreclosure, but after two-years in the Chapter 13 process I began to fall behind from several issues with a tenant that was leasing my farm at the time. I was frightened and needed reassurance for the option I was about to embark on, which was changing my Chapter 13 to a Chapter 7. I contacted Clair and Heather for guidance to pursue this possibility and again I received nothing short of expertise advice; especially, when it came to the decision I wanted to make RE: Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure with the bank. Time has passed now and my Chapter 7 is closed. My session with Clair and Heather has come to an end, but I felt the need to express my views. I would highly recommend Clair Edwards and Heather Purnell to anyone who may have the fears, questions and uncertainty that I did in making the right decision when it comes to bankruptcy. I will always be grateful to their sincerity and allegiance to my needs.
Sometimes in this life, we receive blessings that we would never expect to come from some of the dealings in out busy lives. My husband and I were so blessed when we needed to do something that we had never anticipated having to do. Because of an area of our lives, we had a financial problem that we did not know what to do about. A friend told me about the DelCotto Law Group. I called them and we were given Clair Edwards as our attorney for this help that we needed. I am sure the Lord directed us to this wonderful place. Clair, I call her by her given name because she is so much more than an attorney to us now. My husband and I both hold her in very high esteem. She has made something that we never thought wee would be involved in, something that we are getting through without feeling like we are less as people than we should be. The whole office at the DelCotto Law Group have been like our friends. I would recommend this group of dear people to anyone who needs assistance in this kind of circumstance.
I would like to thank you and the other members of your firm for the professional and effective service provided to us over the last two years. We realized at the outset we had chosen the right team to help us through a difficult time… I offer thanks for and compliments on the quality of [knowledge], attitude and moral support from everyone… As we moved closer to the negotiation and possible court stage, we were very glad to have Michael step in and take the lead on our case. He was always responsive, aggressive, and knowledgeable. Once involved, he became quickly familiar with the complexities of transactions, dates, and other such details of the two vendor relationships. He provided good and thoughtful advice on going forward versus settlement decision. He was genuine in looking out for our economic interests.
Faced with some of the most difficult financial decisions of our life, DelCotto Law Group helped us see our way to a successful solution. Both Laura Day DelCotto and Jamie Harris worked very hard to answer all of our many questions. Having never gone through the Bankruptcy process they were very patient as we decided which steps were correct for our situation. They always responded to us very quickly and we felt a very personal connection. They began as attorneys for us, but now we consider them friends. We are so grateful we had them to help us through this very hard time.
You make things so understandable for me and allow me peace of mind. Thanks so much for all you have done and continue to help me through. I couldn't be more thankful just to have you to talk to!
As you can well imagine, it’s been both an exhausting and exhilarating process. We’re still on a march to end 2011 with as little debt as possible, but, given the combination of drastically reduced overhead and a resurgence in sales that could double last year’s gross income, things are definitely looking up! Our conversation with you was at that moment of epiphany when we finally had a realistic grasp on what needed to be done. Just that one phone call, talking through with you what we were doing, was incredibly helpful.
Thank you for all your help. You have been great! You have made a difficult situation bearable. If there is anything I could ever do to help you two please let me know. Thank you so much.
Thanks for your assistance and support during what was an incredibly stressful time. You are masters at your craft, but more importantly, you are focused on the experience of your client.
I wanted to send you a short note thanking you for your help with my situation. That was a very stressful event in my life and I am very appreciative for your guidance in putting it into perspective for me so I could make it manageable! I am free and clear from the whole situation without taking too much of a financial hit and I owe that to you. I also appreciate that you treated me as a person and not just another dollar. That is rare these days.
