September 2016 Community Events

DLG attorneys and paraprofessionals are actively involved in the central Kentucky community.  We strive to make central Kentucky a better place to live, work and relax for everyone.

 

DelCotto Law Group is a Gold level member of the Blue Grass Lodge #4, Fraternal Order of Police. The Blue Grass F.O.P. #4 supports many projects completed by law enforcement officers which serve the Lexington community. Past efforts include: Cardinal Hill Telethon, Little League Baseball & T-Ball Teams, KY Child Abuse Council, March of Dimes, American Heart Association, KY Sheriff’s Boys & Girls Ranch, Special Olympics and the American Cancer Society.

 

On September 7th, attorney Sara Johnston will be speaking to Lexington professionals on how to listen for signs of financial troubles or abuse towards our senior community as well as how to preserve the wealth our seniors have worked so hard to obtain. DLG attorneys and staff members will be attending the Fayette County Bar Association’s Annual Summer Picnic on September 9th. The picnic will be held on the Fayette District Courthouse Lawn. Go to fcba.com and register!

 

On September 10th and 11th, Member Dean Langdon will be riding in the 39th Annual Old Kentucky Home Tour from Louisville to Bardstown and back to Louisville. This event is a 5-mile, 72-mile, and a very challenging 102-mile century, which includes the legendary Pottershop Hill! DLG is a hole sponsor for the BC Wood Properties Golf Classic to benefit the Foster Care Council on September 12th. The classic will be held at Andover Country Club in Lexington, KY and will provide funding for tutoring, clothing, summer camps, and other enrichment activities for local foster children. There will be prizes, raffles, a best ball scramble and lunch. Following the scramble there will be an hor d’ oeuvres awards reception and conclusion of the silent auction.
